Toronto FC Defeats Forge FC 1-0 In The Semifinal Of The Canadian Championship
Toronto FC edged out Forge FC 1-0 in the second leg of the Canadian Championship semi-final. With the aggregate score tied at 2-2, TFC's away goal in Hamilton means they advance to the final. We’re incredibly proud of Forge for putting up a strong fight against an MLS side, showing just how competitive the CPL can be. Unfortunately, their run was ended by Insigne—no shame there, as he’s a top-tier player and it feels fitting he was the one to close it out. Forge should hold their heads high after this performance.
